The virtual exhibition Marco Glaviano. Volto di Donna (Face of a Woman) was created with the desire to enhance the figure of the woman through the elegant and iconic gaze of the artist.
The reading key of the exhibition focuses the visitor's attention on the unique and particular features of each subject photographed. Among the iconic top models immortalized in his shots, we can find Cindy Crawford, discovered by Glaviano during the '80s, together with Paulina Porizkova and Eva Herzigova.
The uniqueness of Glaviano's shots is evident in his innovative photographic technique that focuses on the details and soft shapes of the subjects. Thanks to his keen eye for the future, in 1982 Marco Glaviano's photos were published digitally in Vogue America. Today Glaviano has made the soft physicality of women an expression not only physical but, above all, expressive: Volto di Donna. It is a brand that deals with the sale of contemporary art by well-known international artists and, at the same time, invests in more emerging artists.
The company deodato.gallery srl, founded in 2015, is present not only in Italy but also in Switzerland and Hong Kong and is developing to open offices in Belgium, UK and other European countries while its physical galleries are located all over the world, starting from Milan, where the legal headquarters is.
