SHEPARD FAIREY / 3 DECADES OF DISSENT presents works of the well known urban artist Shepard Fairey, as know as Obey by the great audience. The exhibit is curated by the artist himself together with Claudio Crescentini, Federica Pirani and the Wunderkammern Gallery.

Experimenter of languages, styles and political messages through art, the american artist Shepard Fairey (Charleston, 1970) wanted to create a unique concept, specifically for the Modern Art Gallery (GAM), presenting thirty of his recent graphic works (2019).

With these works he retraces many of his dissenting themes, for example the fight for peace and against racial violence, the defence of human and gender dignity, the protection of the environment, in dialogue with important works of the contemporary art of the Capitoline Superintendence.

The exhibit, promoted by the territorial authority of Roma Capitale, Department of Cultural growth, Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage and Wunderkammern Gallery, is organized in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura and uses cutting- edge technology, offered by the new platform Lieu.City, which enhaces the usability of art at a distance, offering a quality immersive experience with an extremely realistic and fluid vision of the works of art.
